A copper clad extension and complete refurbishment of a gate lodge in Monkstown by Bone O’Donnell Architects is featured in this weekend’s Sunday Times Home supplement.

 

The article entitled “Have Some Front” discusses the merits of extending towards the front of a property & features Monkstown as an example of how to achieve this.

HOUSE IN DARTMOUTH FEATURES IN PLAN MAGAZINE

A new build mews house by Bone O’Donnell Architects features in the current issue of Plan Magazine.

 

Located in an Architectural Conservation Area, the tight urban site, formally a stables, is located to and originally part of the rear garden of a protected structure on Dartmouth Square North and is accessed off a narrow mews lane running parallel to the Grand Canal.

 

The brief was to create a light filled contemporary two bedroom two storey detached mews house that capitalised on its North – South orientation and views of the Grand Canal.

STEPASIDE FEATURED IN PLAN MAGAZINE

Bone O’Donnell Architects’ project for a vertical addition & alterations to a single storey 1940’s protected structure in Stepaside is featured in the current issue of Plan Magazine.

 

The project brief was to improve the existing layout of the house, it’s connection to the front & rear gardens and to provide an additional floor of accommodation.
