The project consists of a single storey extension to a two storey return of an end of terrace
Edwardian dwelling to provide for an enlarged kitchen and a new dining
come family room.
The works involved the partial removal of the existing rear wall & the
extension of the side wall of the return connected to a new steel framed
timber clad volume with floor to ceiling glazing and large sliding doors that
open onto the redesigned side & rear South & East facing garden. The new
kitchen & full height storage are carefully positioned along the side boundary
wall to allow both light in and an unobstructed view from the main entrance
through the new addition and out to the garden.
